SOULY ARTS STUDIO
Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy integrating Art Therapy and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Tapping).

Are you experiencing low mood, anxiety, prolonged stress, or feeling stuck in certain relationships and old patterns? Sometimes words alone cannot fully express what is going on inside.
This service integrates two evidence-based approaches — Art Therapy and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Tapping) — so that alongside talking, you can also work through emotional difficulties more gently and deeply through creative expression and body-based techniques, reconnecting with your inner strength.
What are these two approaches?
1. Art Therapy – When words cannot find a way out
Art therapy offers a safe space accompanied by a therapist. No drawing skills are required.
When emotions feel too complex or heavy to put into words, we use art media such as paint, clay and collage to externalise inner feelings, thoughts and the subconscious. Through the creative process, you can see your emotional patterns more clearly, organise your thoughts, and — with the therapist as witness — give new meaning to your experiences.
Suitable for: Those who find it difficult to express feelings in words, whose thoughts feel tangled, who have experienced trauma or loss, or who wish to explore themselves more deeply.

2. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) – Releasing the body and emotions
Also known as “tapping,” EFT combines principles from traditional Chinese medicine meridians with psychology. By gently tapping specific acupressure points on the body while acknowledging present difficulties and feelings, it helps calm the nervous system and release accumulated stress and emotional reactions held in the body.
It is like acupuncture for the emotions — without needles. Many people feel physical relaxation and a noticeable reduction in emotional intensity after tapping. It is also a practical self-soothing tool that can be used at home in daily life.
Suitable for: Those struggling with anxiety, panic, depressive feelings, strong physical reactions (such as rapid heartbeat, insomnia or stomach discomfort), addictive habits, or repetitive negative thoughts.

Themes we can work on together:
- Emotional difficulties: depression, anxiety, mood swings, insomnia
- Stress and trauma: work stress, relationship stress, caregiver stress, past trauma
- Behavioural patterns: addictive behaviours, repetitive negative relationship patterns, self-criticism
- Special caregiver support: emotional support and self-care for SEN parents and long-term caregivers
All sessions are conducted confidentially and flexibly integrate both approaches according to your needs and pace. You do not need to prepare anything — just come as you are.
This service is provided by a registered art therapist and aims to offer psychological support and facilitate personal growth. It does not replace psychiatric or medical diagnosis and treatment. Please consult relevant medical professionals when needed.
